Building a Brotherhood of Steel Base with BoS Blocks

Gather BoS Materials

BoS-themed building blocks include BoS Steel Wall, Bos Metal Plating, Bos Metal Slab, Bos Metal Stairs, Bos Grid Floor, BoS Grid Floor Slab, BoS Metal Plating Slab, BoS Metal Roof, BoS Metal Roof Stairs, Bos Lighted Plating, Bos Tile, and BoS Data Block. Craft these at a crafting table using the recipes shown in your recipe book. BoS Data Block is a decorative or functional block worth placing near your entrance.

Lay Out the Structure

Start with a floor of Bos Grid Floor and BoS Grid Floor Slab for walkways. Build walls from BoS Steel Wall and Bos Metal Plating. Use Bos Metal Stairs and BoS Metal Roof Stairs for access between levels. Cap the roof with BoS Metal Roof. Place Bos Lighted Plating on interior walls for lighting without torches.

Doors and Details

Install Bos Door Left and Bos Door Right as a pair to form a working entrance. Line corridors with Bos Tile for a clean interior look. Use BoS Metal Plating Slab and BoS Metal Plating Slab variants to add depth to walls.

Tips

  • Bos Lighted Plating doubles as a light source, so you can skip torches entirely inside.
  • Keep a BoS Data Block near your main entrance as a landmark.
  • Stock extra BoS Steel Wall blocks before you start; running out mid-build is frustrating.
