Enable the Resource Pack in Your World

Load the Pack into Minecraft

Before you can see the hardcore-style hearts, you need to activate the resource pack in your game settings.

1. Open Minecraft and go to Settings → Resource Packs

2. Look for "Fake Hardcore Heart Resource Pack" in the Available list on the left

3. Click the arrow icon to move it to the Selected list on the right

4. The pack will now be active

Verify It's Working

Once activated, load into any world or server. Look at your health bar in the top-left corner of your screen. Your hearts should now display the detailed, pixelated hardcore mode style instead of the smooth standard hearts.

If you don't see the change, try these steps:

• Close and reopen your world
• Check that the pack appears in your Selected list (order doesn't matter)
• Make sure no conflicting resource packs are ranked higher

The pack works on any difficulty setting—peaceful, easy, normal, or hard. Your actual gameplay difficulty won't change; only the visual appearance of your health bar will update.
