Prevent Griefing and Lock Down Redstone
Understanding Default Protections
Your claim automatically prevents unauthorized players from breaking or placing blocks. Chests, furnaces, and other containers remain locked to outsiders. Doors, trapdoors, and gates block entry to uninvited players, even if they're left open.
Securing Redstone Mechanisms
Buttons, levers, and pressure plates inside your claim are locked and cannot be activated by untrusted players. This protects your redstone contraptions, hidden doors, and automated systems from interference.
Disabling Explosions and Fire
Your claim prevents TNT and creepers from damaging blocks, and fire cannot spread within your borders. These protections activate by default, so your carefully built structures stay safe from both griefers and environmental hazards.
Turning Off PvP
Combat between players is disabled inside your claim, preventing surprise attacks or disputes from escalating into destruction. Only players you've explicitly added with /claim add can interact with your protected blocks and items.
