Crafting Gaia Quartz Blocks, Bricks, Pillars, Slabs and Stairs

From Gaia Quartz to Building Blocks

Gaia Quartz is the raw decorative material. Once you have Gaia Quartz in hand, you can turn it into a full building set: Gaia Quartz Block, Gaia Quartz Bricks, Gaia Quartz Pillar, Gaia Quartz Slab, Gaia Quartz Stairs, and the smooth variants Smooth Gaia Quartz, Smooth Gaia Quartz Slab and Smooth Gaia Quartz Stairs.

Start by crafting Gaia Quartz Block from Gaia Quartz at a crafting table. From the block, craft Gaia Quartz Bricks, Gaia Quartz Pillar, Gaia Quartz Slab and Gaia Quartz Stairs using the standard stonecutting-style shaped recipes. Smelt or otherwise process Gaia Quartz Block into Smooth Gaia Quartz, then craft Smooth Gaia Quartz Slab and Smooth Gaia Quartz Stairs from it.

Chiseled and Elementium Variants

The chiseled version is Chiseled Gaia Quartz Block. The parallel Elementium set uses Elementium Quartz Block, Elementium Quartz Bricks, Elementium Quartz Pillar, Elementium Quartz Slab, Elementium Quartz Stairs, Chiseled Elementium Quartz Block, Smooth Elementium Quartz, Smooth Elementium Quartz Slab and Smooth Elementium Quartz Stairs.

Build a palette by placing Gaia Quartz Bricks next to Smooth Gaia Quartz, then accent with Gaia Quartz Pillar and Chiseled Gaia Quartz Block. Use slabs and stairs for roofs and trim. Keep a chest of each variant so you can swap textures without recrafting.
