Convert Rotten Flesh to Leather Efficiently

Smelting Rotten Flesh

Rotten flesh from zombies and other undead mobs can now be smelted directly into leather, making mob farming much more rewarding. You have three furnace options:

• Standard Furnace: Place rotten flesh in the top slot with fuel below. Standard smelting speed applies.
• Smoker: Smelts rotten flesh twice as fast as a regular furnace, ideal for processing large quantities.
• Campfire: Place rotten flesh on top of a campfire for a slower but fuel-free conversion.

Bulk Crafting Alternative

If you prefer crafting over smelting, combine nine pieces of rotten flesh on a crafting table to produce one leather directly. This is useful when you have excess flesh but limited fuel.

Tip: Smokers are most efficient for large-scale leather production. Set up multiple smokers near your mob farm to process drops continuously. Campfires work well for small quantities or when you want to conserve fuel for other smelting tasks.
