Building a Golem Setup with Golem Head, Light and Power Source
Placing the Core Blocks
A functional golem area uses three placeable blocks from the mod: Golem Head, Dynamic Golem Light, and Dynamic Golem Power Source. All three are blocks, so you place them directly in the world rather than holding them.
Start by placing the Golem Head where the golem structure should be. Then place the Dynamic Golem Power Source nearby to supply power to the setup. Finally, place the Dynamic Golem Light to illuminate the area around the golem.
Supporting Items
Two items complement the blocks: the Golem Spell and the Spawn Bedrock Golem. The Golem Spell is an item you keep in your inventory for golem-related spell use. The Spawn Bedrock Golem is the item you use when you want to spawn a bedrock golem.
If you need to confirm which items pair with which block, craft the Extra Golems Guide using its crafting_shapeless recipe. Shapeless means the ingredients can go in any slots of the crafting grid.
Step-by-Step
1. Craft the Extra Golems Guide so you have the reference item.
2. Obtain the Golem Head block and place it at your chosen spot.
3. Place the Dynamic Golem Power Source adjacent to the golem area.
4. Place the Dynamic Golem Light so the golem is visible at night.
5. Hold the Golem Spell if you are casting golem spells.
6. Use the Spawn Bedrock Golem item to bring out a bedrock golem.
All six registry entries — Dynamic Golem Light, Dynamic Golem Power Source, Extra Golems Guide, Golem Head, Golem Spell, and Spawn Bedrock Golem — cover the full set of blocks and items you work with.
