How to Use Illuminated Toggle Buttons

What They Do

Illuminated Toggle Buttons come in sixteen colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow Illuminated Toggle Button. Unlike a normal button that only pulses while held, a toggle button flips between on and off each time you press it. That makes it ideal for switches that need to stay in one state — lights that remain on, doors that stay open, or machines that keep running until you press again.

Crafting and Wiring

Each color is made with its own shaped crafting recipe. Pick the color that matches your build, gather the ingredients shown in the recipe book, and craft it at a crafting table. The illuminated look means the button itself glows, so you can see its state at a glance in dark rooms.

Mount the toggle button on a wall or block face, then connect redstone dust from it to your target. Press once to power the circuit, press again to cut power. Use one toggle per circuit so you always know which switch controls what. For momentary pulses, use a Panel Button. For touch-style activation, use the Capacitive Touch Block.
