Collecting Redstone

Redstone Helmet, Redstone Chestplate, Redstone Leggings, and Redstone Boots are crafted from redstone dust. Mine redstone ore with an iron pickaxe or better — redstone ore drops multiple dust per block, so a single vein usually covers several pieces.

Crafting the Set

1. Mine redstone ore until you have a full stack of dust.

2. Place a crafting table.

3. Arrange redstone dust in the helmet shape and craft Redstone Helmet.

4. Repeat with the chestplate body shape for Redstone Chestplate.

5. Use the leggings leg shape for Redstone Leggings.

6. Use the boots pair shape for Redstone Boots.

7. Equip all four pieces.

Managing the Set

Redstone is common deep underground, so this set is easy to replace. Keep a chest of redstone dust at your base and recraft pieces as they break. If you plan to fight, pair Redstone armor with a stronger chestplate or upgrade to Amethyst once you have shards.
