Crafting Glass Armor and Where to Use It

Making the Glass Set

Glass Helmet, Glass Chestplate, Glass Leggings, and Glass Boots follow the same crafting_shaped patterns as every other armor set in the mod. Smelt sand into glass blocks in a furnace, then bring the glass to a crafting table.

Arrange glass in the helmet arc, the chestplate body shape, the leggings leg shape, and the boots pair shape. Craft each piece separately. Because glass is easy to mass-produce from sand, you can build multiple sets quickly.

Practical Uses

Glass armor is a novelty or display set. Wear it around your base, use it in armor stands for decoration, or craft a spare set to keep in a chest. Do not rely on it for combat against strong mobs — swap to Copper, Amethyst, or another combat set before a fight.

Keep a stack of sand and a furnace running while you build so you always have glass on hand. If a piece breaks, recraft it immediately rather than switching to a mismatched material.
