Crafting Copper Armor from Raw Copper

Gathering Copper

Copper Helmet, Copper Chestplate, Copper Leggings, and Copper Boots require copper ingots. Mine copper ore underground, then smelt the raw copper in a furnace to get ingots. A full set needs enough ingots for all four pieces, so mine a generous stack of ore before you start.

Crafting Each Piece

Bring your copper ingots to a crafting table. Use the standard armor shapes: helmet arc on the top row, chestplate body shape across the middle, leggings in the two-column leg pattern, and boots along the bottom row. Craft Copper Helmet, Copper Chestplate, Copper Leggings, and Copper Boots one at a time.

When to Wear Copper

Copper armor sits between Dirt and Amethyst in cost. Wear it once you have a steady copper supply but before you have committed to a stronger set. It is a good choice for mining trips and early cave exploration. Keep spare ingots in a chest near your furnace so you can recraft broken pieces without another mining run.
