Crafting the Empty Vial

The Empty Vial is the starting point for storing brewed effects in a portable form. It is produced through a shaped crafting recipe. Place the required ingredients in the pattern the recipe shows in your crafting grid to receive Empty Vials.

Once crafted, the Empty Vial sits in your inventory as an empty container. It cannot hold a potion effect on its own — it must be filled through brewing or combined with the other registry items to become useful.

Using the Empty Vial

Treat the Empty Vial as your blank stock. Craft several at once so you always have spares on hand. When you are ready to store an effect, the Empty Vial is the item that gets consumed or transformed into the filled result.

Keep Empty Vials separate from your finished potions in your inventory so you do not accidentally use a filled one when you meant to fill a blank. Because the vial is a shaped crafting output, you can batch-produce them whenever you have the ingredients, then carry a stack while exploring.
