Finding and Farming Glowshroom

Glowshroom is the light-emitting fungus of this mod. Break a naturally generated Glowshroom to collect it, then replant it on dirt, grass, or mycelium in a dark spot where it can spread. Harvest the full block with any tool to get Glowshroom back for replanting.

Turning Glowshroom Into Building Parts

Once you have a stock of Glowshroom, convert it into Glowshroom Planks at a crafting table. From Glowshroom Planks you can craft the full wood family: Glowshroom Stairs, Glowshroom Slab, Glowshroom Fence, Glowshroom Fence Gate, Glowshroom Door, Glowshroom Trapdoor, Glowshroom Button, Glowshroom Pressure Plate, Glowshroom Sign, and Glowshroom Hanging Sign. A Corail Woodcutter processes Glowshroom Planks into these shapes more efficiently than a crafting table.

Glowstone Crumbs

Glowshroom also yields Glowstone Crumbs, a glowing material used in further crafting. Keep a stack on hand when building light fixtures or decorative mushroom structures.

Boats and Storage

Craft a Glowshroom Boat from Glowshroom Planks to travel water, and a Glowshroom Boat with Chest when you need cargo space. Both are made the same way as vanilla boats, substituting Glowshroom Planks for regular wood.

Stripped Stems

Use an axe on a placed Glowshroom Stem to get Stripped Glowshroom Stem, a clean building block for pillars and trim.
