How to Build a Fairy Ring and Get Mushroom Spores

Building the Ring

The fairy ring recipe is the entry point for the mod's progression. You need mushroom blocks arranged in a ring pattern to trigger it. Use Glowshroom, Honey Fungus, or Poisonous Mushroom blocks as the ring material. Place them in a circular formation on the ground, leaving the center open.

Once the ring is complete, the extendedmushrooms:fairy_ring_recipe activates. This is a special recipe type that converts items placed in or near the ring. The primary output is Mushroom Spores, which you will need for further crafting.

Using the Ring

Stand in the center of the ring or place the required items inside it. The recipe processes automatically when the conditions are met. Mushroom Spores are the key item you get from this process.

You can also use the fairy ring to convert other mushroom-related items. The ring works with Glowshroom, Honey Fungus, and Poisonous Mushroom variants. Keep the ring intact and do not break the blocks while using it.

If the recipe does not trigger, check that all ring blocks are placed correctly and that the center is clear. The ring must be complete for the recipe to work. Once you have Mushroom Spores, you can use them to grow more mushrooms or craft other items.
