Crafting Mushroom Planks, Sticks, and Building Blocks

From Stems to Planks

Mushroom Stems are the wood equivalent for this mod. Glowshroom Stem, Honey Fungus Stem, and Poisonous Mushroom Stem can all be converted into their respective Planks. Place a Stem in the crafting grid to get four Planks of the same type.

Once you have Planks, you can craft the full wood set. Use the corail_woodcutter:woodcutting recipe type at a Woodcutter to get Stairs, Slabs, Fences, Fence Gates, Doors, Trapdoors, Buttons, Pressure Plates, and Ladders efficiently. The Woodcutter gives you more output per Plank than a standard crafting table.

Building and Storage

Craft Bookshelves by combining Planks with Books. Make Chests, Trapped Chests, and Signs using the same Planks. Hanging Signs are also available for each mushroom type.

For decorative blocks, use the Cap variants. Glowshroom Cap, Honey Fungus Cap, and Poisonous Mushroom Cap can be crafted into Cap Buttons, Cap Carpets, and Cap Pressure Plates. These are separate from the Plank-based variants.

Mushroom Bookshelf, Glowshroom Bookshelf, and Honey Fungus Bookshelf are all craftable. Use the Woodcutter for the most efficient conversion of Planks into building blocks. Keep a stack of Stems in your inventory so you can quickly craft more Planks as needed.
