How to Use the Flux Crafter and Flux Alternator

Run Flux Crafter Recipes

Place a Flux Crafter and a Flux Alternator adjacent to each other. The Flux Crafter runs recipes of type extendedcrafting:shaped_flux_crafter. The Flux Alternator provides the flux state the crafter needs, so neither block works alone.

Stock the Flux Crafter with Redstone Components, Redstone Catalysts, and Redstone Ingots. Craft Redstone Nuggets into Redstone Ingots, and combine ingots into Redstone Ingot Blocks when a recipe calls for the block form.

Upgrade to Enhanced Redstone

After you have Redstone Components, craft an Enhanced Redstone Catalyst and Enhanced Redstone Component. These open the enhanced tier: Enhanced Redstone Ingots, Enhanced Redstone Nuggets, and Enhanced Redstone Ingot Blocks.

Use the Auto Flux Crafter for hands-free operation. It accepts the same Flux Crafter recipes and can pull ingredients from nearby inventories, so you can leave it running while you gather other materials. Keep a Flux Alternator next to it at all times.

Flux materials feed into Flux Stars and Flux Star Blocks, which are used in the highest-tier recipes. Before you attempt the Ultimate Crafting Table or the Quantum Compressor, make sure you have a steady supply of Redstone and Enhanced Redstone Components, because those recipes consume them in bulk.
