How to Build and Use the Basic Crafting Table

Crafting the Table

Combine a Crafting Core with the required materials to produce a Basic Crafting Table. The Basic Crafting Table is the entry point for all larger grids in this mod. Place it down like any other crafting station and right-click to open its interface.

Using Larger Grids

The Basic Crafting Table gives you a grid larger than the vanilla 3x3, letting you lay out recipes that would not fit otherwise. Insert ingredients into the grid slots exactly as the recipe shows, then pull the result from the output slot. Recipes made here use the extendedcrafting:shaped_table type, so ingredient position matters.

Progression From Here

Once you have the Basic Crafting Table working, use it to produce Basic Components and Basic Catalysts. These feed into the higher tiers: Advanced Crafting Table, Elite Crafting Table, and Ultimate Crafting Table. Each tier unlocks bigger grids and more complex recipes. Keep a stock of Basic Components on hand, since they are consumed when crafting the next tier of table.

Practical Tips

• Keep the table near your storage; large grids eat a lot of inventory space.
• Craft Basic Catalysts in batches so you are not stopping to make them one at a time.
• The Handheld Crafting Table is a portable alternative when you are away from your base, but it does not replace the larger grids.
