Understand Full Inventory Loss

If you die during a raid before extracting, you lose all carried items and levels. This is the core risk of extraction gameplay—every raid is high-stakes. A death marker appears on the raid map showing where your gear was dropped.

Retrieve Your Dropped Loot

You can redeploy into the same raid world to recover your dropped gear at the death marker location. However, you'll be starting fresh with only basic equipment, and the zone remains hostile. Decide whether the lost loot is worth the risk of another dangerous run.

Prevent Future Losses

Extract regularly instead of pushing too deep. Don't carry more than you can afford to lose. Prioritize reaching the glowing obsidian portal over collecting every item. Consider squad deployments where teammates can help you survive and extract together, reducing the chance of catastrophic loss.
