Use Corpse Variants for Different Biome Themes

Understanding Available Variants

The Excalibur Realm RPG support pack includes custom models for multiple corpse types:

• Standard skeleton remains: Versatile for caves and underground areas
• Wither skeleton variants: Designed for Nether environments on nether brick and blackstone
• Frozen adventurer skeletons: Textured for snowy peaks and ice biomes
• Waterlogged variants: Styled for ocean floors, beaches, and aquatic settings
• Mushroom and lantern variants: Decorative elements that complement corpse scenes
• Dripstone variants: Work with cave formations in deep underground settings

Matching Corpses to Locations

For each biome:

1. Select the appropriate corpse variant from your available blocks

2. Place corpses in positions that feel natural to that environment

3. Combine with biome-appropriate building blocks and decorations

4. Use lighting that matches the setting (torches in caves, soul lanterns in the Nether, moonlight in snowy areas)

The custom models ensure visual consistency—corpses won't look out of place regardless of where you position them. Mix variants within a single build to suggest adventurers from different origins or time periods.
