Make Enchanted Books Match Your Excalibur Theme

Enable CIT Support

Enchanted books in the Deeper and Darker mod won't display their custom Excalibur textures by default. You need to enable CIT (Custom Item Textures) support in your resource pack settings.

1. Open your resource pack folder

2. Locate the CIT configuration file (usually in the pack's settings or properties)

3. Enable the CIT module if it's disabled

4. Restart your game

Verify the Changes

Once CIT is active, enchanted books from Deeper and Darker dungeons will now display with the dark, medieval styling that matches the rest of your Excalibur pack. The books will have custom textures that fit the rustic theme instead of the default appearance.

If enchanted books still look wrong, double-check that your launcher supports CIT. Some launchers require additional configuration to recognize CIT textures. Make sure you're also running the main Excalibur pack alongside this support pack—the two work together to achieve the full visual effect.
