Undead Wood Progression: Planks, Sticks, and Dark Blocks

From Logs to Planks

Harvest Undead Wood logs from undead trees. Craft them into Undead Planks in a crafting grid, exactly like normal wood. From Undead Planks you can craft Undead Slab, Undead Fence, Undead Fence Gate, Undead Plank Stairs, and Reinforced Undead Plank Stairs. Stripped Undead Wood is made by using an axe on Undead Wood logs.

Dark Stick and Dark Brick

Combine two Undead Planks vertically to get a Dark Stick. Dark Sticks are required for the Broom, Vein Sword, Vengeance Pickaxe, Necromancer Staff, Mace of Destruction, and Mace of Distortion. Smelt Dark Brick from clay or stone using the Spirit Furnace — the Spirit Furnace is the mod's smelting block and also handles other recipes. From Dark Brick, craft Dark Brick Stairs and Dark Blood Brick Stairs.

Dark Block and Gemstone Torch

Craft Dark Block from Dark Brick or related dark materials; it is a decorative and structural block. Gemstone Torch provides light and is crafted using Dark Gem or Dark Power Gem. Dark Power Gem Block stores Dark Power Gems for compact storage. Use these blocks to build a themed base while keeping your Dark Stick supply stocked for tools.
