Setting Up Blood Infrastructure: Blood Chest, Blood Infuser, and Dark Tank

Storing and Moving Blood

The Dark Tank stores blood. Place it, then fill it using a Blood Extractor on yourself or on mobs — the Extractor pulls blood into the Tank when adjacent or connected. The Blood Chest holds items and repairs them using stored blood; place it next to a Dark Tank so it can draw blood automatically. For bulk storage, upgrade to the Colossal Blood Chest, which holds far more items and blood.

Infusing Items

The Blood Infuser converts items using blood. Place it, supply blood from a Dark Tank or Blood Chest, then insert the input item. The Blood Infusion Core is the key ingredient for many infusion recipes — craft it first, then use the Infuser to produce items such as the Blood Pearl of Teleportation, Vengeance Ring, and Effortless Ring.

Powering the System

The Powered Sanguinary Pedestal and Sanguinary Pedestal hold items during rituals. The Sanguinary Environmental Acc. (Sanguinary Environmental Accumulator) gathers blood from the environment. Place these near your Blood Infuser to keep blood flowing without manual extraction. Use Hardened Blood Shard and Blood-Waxed Coal as intermediate crafting materials for upgrades. Keep at least one Dark Tank as a buffer so the Infuser never runs dry mid-recipe.
