Setting Up the Infuser

Place a Blood Infuser and give it a blood supply. The cleanest source is a Dark Tank filled with Blood placed adjacent to the infuser. You also need a Blood Infusion Core nearby if your recipe calls for core-based infusion. Once blood is available, the infuser accepts items and consumes blood per operation.

What You Can Infuse

Infusion turns base items into stronger versions. Darkened Apple is a blood-infused food item. Blood Pearl of Teleportation and Bound Blood Drop are infused results used for mobility and storage. Blood-Waxed Coal and Block of Blood-Waxed Coal come from blood treatment of coal. Hardened Blood and Hardened Blood Shard are solid blood products you will need for later crafts. Keep a chest of raw inputs next to the infuser so you can batch operations.

Automating Infusion

Feed the infuser with a hopper or pipe on the input side and pull finished items from the output side. Keep the Dark Tank topped up with Blood Buckets or an automated Blood Extractor line. If the infuser stalls, check that the tank still has blood and that the Blood Infusion Core has not been moved. A Blood Chest nearby lets you store charged results without carrying them around.
