How to Get Started with Dark Ore and Dark Gems

Mining and Processing

Find Dark Ore underground, or Deepslate Dark Ore in the deepslate layer. Mine either block to obtain Dark Gem and Crushed Dark Gem. Use a Dark Gem to craft a Dark Stick, then combine Dark Stick with Dark Gem to make a Dark Block or Dark Power Gem Block for storage and decoration.

Dark Power Gem is a key crafting component for many EvilCraft machines and tools. Smelt Dark Ore in a Spirit Furnace to increase yield. Crushed Dark Gem feeds into later recipes, including Dark Power Gem crafting and Blood Infuser processes.

Building Your First Machines

Craft a Spirit Furnace to smelt EvilCraft ores and materials. Build a Blood Extractor to begin collecting Blood from mobs, and a Blood Infuser to infuse items with Blood. Place a Dark Tank to store Blood and Poison fluids. A Sanguinary Pedestal and Powered Sanguinary Pedestal let you automate blood collection from nearby entities.

Craft a Broom from Broom Part and Dark Stick to fly. Use Dark Brick and Dark Blood Brick for building. Blood-Waxed Coal and Block of Blood-Waxed Coal provide fuel. Hardened Blood and Hardened Blood Shard come from processing Blood in a Blood Infuser or Spirit Furnace.

Once you have Dark Power Gem, you can craft Environmental Accumulator, Kineticator, and Exalted Crafter to expand production.
