How to Collect and Use Blood

Extracting Blood

Craft a Blood Extractor and place it near mobs. The extractor draws Blood from living entities and stores it internally or pipes it into a Dark Tank. You can also use a Sanguinary Pedestal or Powered Sanguinary Pedestal to collect blood from mobs standing on or near them. Blood Stain blocks appear where blood has been spilled.

Fill Blood Bucket from a Dark Tank or directly from a Blood Extractor. Blood can be placed as a fluid block in the world using a Blood Bucket. Condensed Blood and Blood Pearl of Teleportation are crafted from Blood and Ender Tear or Corrupted Tear.

Infusing and Crafting

Use a Blood Infuser to convert items using Blood. Place the infuser, supply it with Blood from a Dark Tank, and insert the base item. Blood Infusion Core is required for advanced infusions. Blood Orb and Empty Orb are used in blood-based crafting recipes.

Craft Blood Chest to store items with a blood theme, or Colossal Blood Chest for larger storage. Blood Potash acts as a fertilizer. Blood-Waxed Coal is a fuel source made by combining Blood with coal in a Blood Infuser. Hardened Blood and Hardened Blood Shard are produced by infusing Blood into solid forms.

Bowl of Promises tiers (Tier 0 through Tier 3) and Dusted Bowl of Promises are blood-related crafting components. Bowl of Empty Promises is the base item. Use Promise Acceptor blocks (Iron, Gold, Diamond) to automate promise-based crafting.
