Crafting and Using the Necromancer Staff

Gathering the Materials

The Necromancer Staff is a mid-tier tool built from dark and blood materials. You need Dark Gem and Dark Stick from your mining and processing line, plus Blood-derived components. Stock Hardened Blood and Blood-Waxed Coal before you start, since these appear in several related recipes. A Blood Infuser with a Dark Tank supply makes the blood components easy to produce in bulk.

What the Staff Does

The Necromancer Staff lets you interact with the undead side of the mod. It pairs with Controlled Zombie Spawn Egg and the Spirit Reanimator for raising and controlling mobs. Use it alongside Spirit Furnace and Spirit Portal when you are building a spirit-themed base. Materialized Vengeance Essence and Corrupted Tear are related drops you will want to collect while using the staff.

Supporting Blocks

Build a Spirit Reanimator to bring mobs back, and place Infested Netherrack, Infested Soul Sand, and Infested Nether Bricks around your spirit area for themed terrain. Netherfish Spawn Egg and Poisonous Libelle Spawn Egg give you additional mobs to work with. Keep a Blood Chest nearby to repair the staff and other gear between fights.
