Configure Realistic Day-Night Lighting Transitions

Access Time-Based Lighting Settings

Open shader options and find settings related to sun/moon brightness, sky color, or time-of-day effects. These control how lighting changes as day transitions to night.

Adjust Sunrise and Sunset Appearance

Look for sky color or atmospheric lighting sliders. Increase warm tones during sunrise/sunset if you want more dramatic color shifts, or keep them subtle for realism. The shader's soft lighting approach means transitions should feel smooth rather than sudden.

Balance Moonlight Intensity

Reduce or increase moonlight brightness to control how visible your world is at night. Realistic settings mean nighttime should be darker, but still navigable with torches or full moon. If night feels too dark for gameplay, boost moonlight slightly.

Test Full Day Cycles

Watch how lighting transitions and shadows move. The shader should maintain consistent soft shadows throughout the day. If transitions feel jarring or unnatural, fine-tune brightness and color values incrementally until the cycle feels smooth and immersive.
