Adjust Sunbeam Intensity and Spread

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the key bound to shader settings (typically accessed through your graphics menu or mod settings). Look for the EV Enhanced Visuals Shaders configuration panel.

Fine-Tune Sunbeam Parameters

Locate the sunbeam or volumetric lighting controls. These settings control how dramatically light rays spread through your world:

• Intensity slider: Increase to make sunbeams more visible and dramatic; decrease for subtle, realistic lighting
• Spread/Softness: Adjust how far light diffuses across blocks and terrain
• Quality setting: Higher values render more detailed light rays but cost more performance

Test changes in different biomes—forests show the most dramatic effect since trees create natural light obstruction. Open plains will show minimal sunbeams since there's less to scatter light through.

Save and Apply

Confirm your changes. The shader reloads automatically. If sunbeams look too harsh, reduce intensity slightly and increase softness for a more natural vanilla feel.
