Optimize Frame Rate on Mid-Range Hardware
Check Current Performance
Launch Minecraft with Ethereal Vibe Baseline active and open the debug screen (F3). Note your current FPS. The shader is optimized for mid-tier systems, but you may need tweaks if you're experiencing drops below your target frame rate.
Reduce Visual Quality Settings
In the shader options menu, look for:
- Shadow resolution — lower this first for the biggest FPS gain
- Ambient occlusion — disable or reduce if performance is critical
- Reflection quality — scale down water and reflective surface detail
- Particle effects — tone down extra lighting on rain, snow, or effects
Disable Unnecessary Features
Turn off any optional visual enhancements you don't need. Ethereal Vibe Baseline includes toggles for fancy effects; disabling these preserves the clean, readable look while freeing up GPU resources.
Monitor and Adjust
Re-check your FPS after each change. Aim for stable frame rates during typical gameplay (mining, building, exploring). If still struggling, lower render distance slightly—this often helps more than shader tweaks alone.
