Water Surface Features

Eternal Prism Shaders adds gentle wave animations to water surfaces and real-time reflections of the sky, clouds, and terrain. These effects apply to all water blocks, including oceans, rivers, and lakes.

Viewing Reflections

Stand at water level or slightly above and look at the surface at an angle (not straight down). You'll see:

• Sky reflections: Clouds and stars mirror on the water
• Wave motion: Subtle rippling that shifts throughout the day
• Underwater clarity: Improved visibility below the surface with better light penetration

Best Locations

Reflections are most striking at:

• Large open water bodies (oceans, big lakes) where the sky dominates the reflection
• Sunset and sunrise when the sky has rich colors
• Night time when stars reflect clearly
• Near structures where buildings reflect alongside the sky

Note that reflection quality depends on your shader preset. High preset shows the most detailed reflections, while Low preset uses simplified water rendering. Water plants also wave gently with the current, adding natural movement to underwater areas.
