Adjust Shader Quality to Match Your Hardware

Access Quality Settings

Eternal Prism Shaders includes multiple quality presets designed to balance visual fidelity with frame rate stability. Open your shader options menu (usually accessed via the pause menu or shader settings button) to find the quality selector.

Choose Your Preset

Select from the available presets:

  • Low: Recommended for older computers or laptops. Disables or reduces volumetric light shafts, simplifies cloud rendering, and uses basic shadow mapping. Maintains smooth gameplay on modest hardware.
  • Medium: Balanced option for mid-range systems. Enables most visual features including volumetric rays and 3D clouds at reduced complexity. Good for 60+ FPS on standard gaming setups.
  • High: For powerful PCs. Enables full volumetric lighting through dense foliage, detailed cloud physics, advanced water reflections, and high-resolution shadow mapping.

Monitor Performance

After selecting a preset, play for several minutes in different biomes—forests with dense trees, open plains, and near water. Watch your frame counter (F3 key shows debug info). If frames drop below your target, lower the preset. If performance is stable with headroom, try the next level up for better visuals.
