Getting Started with Aura Nodes and Wand Charging

Aura Nodes and Wand Charging

Aura nodes are scattered throughout your world and serve as the foundation for arcane progression. These nodes allow you to charge your wands and access basic magical crafting. To begin, locate an aura node in the world—they often appear near magical structures like hilltop stones and totems.

Once you find a node, use it to charge your wand for spellcasting and wandcraft projects. As you progress, you'll unlock new rod materials, wand caps, and scepters through the Thaumonomicon's Wandcraft Progression research branch. This expanded system lets you customize your magical tools and eventually craft advanced staves for more powerful effects.
