Building a Full Weapon Loadout From One Material

Craft a Matched Set

If you have a large stock of one material, craft every weapon type in that material so you can swap between Dagger, Longsword, Greatsword, Spear, and Tachi without changing tiers. For iron, that means an Iron Dagger, Iron Longsword, Iron Greatsword, Iron Spear, and Iron Tachi. For diamond, the equivalent set is Diamond Dagger, Diamond Longsword, Diamond Greatsword, Diamond Spear, and Diamond Tachi.

Use Golden as a Bridge

Golden weapons sit between Iron and Diamond in the progression. If diamonds are scarce but gold is plentiful, craft the Golden version of each type you use — Golden Dagger, Golden Longsword, Golden Greatsword, Golden Spear, Golden Tachi — and treat them as placeholders until you can craft the Diamond equivalents. Each is still its own crafting_shaped recipe, so no conversion step is needed; you simply craft the tier you want.

Include the Glove

The Glove is the one registry item outside the five weapon-type lines. Add it to your loadout alongside your chosen weapons rather than as a replacement for a Dagger or Longsword.

Stockpile by Tier

Because every tier is crafted independently, a practical routine is: keep one Wooden weapon of each type for early testing, one Iron set for general use, and push a single type — usually Greatsword or Longsword — to Diamond first. Store spare Stone and Golden weapons as backups so a lost Diamond weapon does not leave you unarmed while you re-gather materials for the next crafting_shaped recipe.
