Combine Sword Trails with Other Combat Mods

Compatibility Considerations

The Sword Trail Optimization Pack works by modifying action data in EpicFight-Extra. When using additional combat or animation mods:

• Other animation packs: Place this pack *above* conflicting animation resource packs in your list so its action data takes priority
• Shader packs: Most shaders are compatible, but some may dim or recolor the trail effects. Test your shader combination
• Weapon mods: Trails will display on any weapon that uses EpicFight animations, including modded weapons

Setup Order

1. Install EpicFight and its required dependencies first

2. Add EpicFight-Extra and EpicFight-Nightfall

3. Place the Sword Trail Optimization Pack in your resource packs folder

4. In the resource pack menu, position it above any other animation or weapon packs

5. Add shader packs *after* confirming trails render correctly without them

Testing Compatibility

Load a world and test sword attacks with each mod combination. If trails disappear after adding a new mod, that mod may conflict with the action data modifications.
