Match the CCU to Your Materials

The eight Void Miner CCU blocks are Litherite, Erodium, Ionite, Kyronite, Aethium, Nanorite, Pladium, and Xerothium. Each has its own crafting_shaped recipe, and each recipe consumes materials of that tier. The practical rule is simple: build the CCU whose tier materials you can actually supply.

If you are just starting out, the Litherite Void Miner CCU is the natural first craft because it uses the lowest tier of ingredients. If you have already collected Erodium, Ionite, or Kyronite materials, you can skip ahead and craft that tier's CCU instead — nothing in the registry forces you to build them in order.

Plan Your Progression

Treat the CCU list as a ladder of goals: Litherite, then Erodium, Ionite, Kyronite, Aethium, Nanorite, Pladium, Xerothium. For each rung, gather that tier's materials and craft the matching CCU with its shaped recipe.

Because each CCU is a separate block, you can keep lower-tier CCUs placed and running while you work toward higher tiers. Decide which tier you need based on the materials you have on hand, craft that specific CCU, and place it. When you are ready to move up, craft the next tier's CCU as a new block.
