Choosing an Alabaster Color

Alabaster comes in multiple colors, including Black Alabaster, Blue Alabaster, and Brown Alabaster. Each color has its own full set of variants, so pick the color you want before you start cutting. The base block is simply the color name, for example Blue Alabaster.

Cobble, Bricks, and Tiles

From a colored Alabaster block you can produce Cobble, Bricks, and Tiles through stonecutting. For Blue Alabaster that means Blue Alabaster Cobble, Blue Alabaster Bricks, and Blue Alabaster Tiles. Each of those parents then yields its own slab, stair, and wall forms. Blue Alabaster Cobble gives Blue Alabaster Cobble Slab, Blue Alabaster Cobble Stairs, and Blue Alabaster Cobble Wall. Blue Alabaster Bricks gives Blue Alabaster Brick Slab, Blue Alabaster Brick Stairs, and Blue Alabaster Brick Wall. Blue Alabaster Tiles gives Blue Alabaster Tile Slab and Blue Alabaster Tile Stairs.

Small Bricks and Small Tiles

For finer detail work, the Alabaster set also includes Small variants. Blue Small Alabaster Bricks can be cut into Blue Small Alabaster Brick Slab, Blue Small Alabaster Brick Stairs, and Blue Small Alabaster Brick Wall. Blue Small Alabaster Tiles can be cut into Blue Small Alabaster Tile Slab and Blue Small Alabaster Tile Stairs. Use Small variants where full-size bricks would look too chunky, such as trim around windows or narrow pillars.
