How to Build with Blueschist: Cobble, Bricks, and Tiles

Three Textures from One Stone

Blueschist behaves like the other stone families here. You start with Blueschist and branch into Blueschist Cobble, Blueschist Bricks, and Blueschist Tiles. Each branch has a full set of Slab, Stairs, and Wall variants.

Use the stonecutter. Place Blueschist in and select Blueschist Cobble, Blueschist Bricks, or Blueschist Tiles. Then feed any of those parents back into the stonecutter to get the matching Blueschist Cobble Slab, Blueschist Cobble Stairs, Blueschist Cobble Wall, Blueschist Brick Slab, Blueschist Brick Stairs, Blueschist Brick Wall, Blueschist Tile Slab, Blueschist Tile Stairs, or Blueschist Tile Wall.

Choosing a Texture

Blueschist Cobble is the roughest option and works well for foundations, paths, and retaining walls. Blueschist Bricks give a regular, masonry look suited to walls and pillars. Blueschist Tiles are the smoothest and read best on floors and feature panels.

Because all three share the same base stone, you can mix them in one structure without color clash. A common approach: Blueschist Cobble for the base course, Blueschist Bricks for the main wall, and Blueschist Tiles for a floor or accent band. Cut a single stack of Blueschist into all three parents first, then cut the Slab, Stairs, and Wall variants you actually need.
