Building with Blueschist: Slabs, Stairs, Walls, Bricks, and Tiles

The Blueschist Family

Blueschist is a stone block with a full decorative set. The base block is Blueschist. From it you can produce Blueschist Cobble, Blueschist Bricks, and Blueschist Tiles. Each of those parents yields slab, stair, and wall forms through stonecutting.

Cutting the Variants

Blueschist itself cuts into Blueschist Slab, Blueschist Stairs, and Blueschist Wall. Blueschist Cobble cuts into Blueschist Cobble Slab, Blueschist Cobble Stairs, and Blueschist Cobble Wall. Blueschist Bricks cuts into Blueschist Brick Slab, Blueschist Brick Stairs, and Blueschist Brick Wall. Blueschist Tiles cuts into Blueschist Tile Slab and Blueschist Tile Stairs. Plan your cuts around the parent block you actually have, since each variant comes from its own parent rather than from the base stone directly.

Design Uses

Blueschist Cobble works well for foundations and retaining walls. Blueschist Bricks suit formal walls and pathways. Blueschist Tiles make clean floors and accent bands. Combine Blueschist Slab with Blueschist Brick Stairs to create layered steps, and use Blueschist Wall to cap fences or line rooftops. Because all variants share the same blue-grey tone, they mix without clashing.
