How to Set Up Item and FE Transfer for Machines

Machines only run when items and energy reach them. The mod provides dedicated I/O blocks for both.

Item Movement

Use Item Input to push ingredients into a machine and Item Output to pull finished products out. Connect the Item Input to your supply of crystals, powders, wafers and boules, and route the Item Output to storage or to the next machine in the chain. A Crusher feeding a Crystallizer feeding an Assembler is the standard three-stage line: Crusher output goes to Crystallizer input, Crystallizer output goes to Assembler input.

Energy Movement

Use FE Input to receive energy into a machine and FE Output to send energy onward. Chain FE Output of one machine into the FE Input of the next so a single power source can drive a whole line. If you are still testing layouts, a Creative Energy Source supplies power without fuel.

Structure and Visibility

Aethium Structure Frame, Erodium Structure Frame and Ionite Structure Frame form the housing around machine setups. Clear Structure Panel can be placed in the housing where you want to observe the machine interior.

Layout Advice

Keep each machine's Item Input and Item Output on opposite sides so items flow in one direction. Put FE Input and FE Output on separate faces too. This prevents loops where a machine feeds its own output back into its input.
