How to Build and Power the Assembler

The Assembler is the machine that turns your crystal materials into advanced components. It needs power and a way to move items in and out.

Power and I/O Blocks

Place an FE Input next to the Assembler and run your energy source into it. If you have no generator yet, a Creative Energy Source works for testing. For automation, attach an Item Input to feed ingredients and an Item Output to pull results. A Clear Structure Panel can be used where you want to see inside the machine housing.

Feeding the Assembler

Insert the tier materials and powders the recipe calls for through the Item Input. Powders such as Aethium Powder, Erodium Powder, Ionite Powder, Charcoal Powder and Carbon Powder are the fine-grained inputs, while crystals, wafers and boules are the higher-tier inputs. Keep the Item Output clear so finished parts do not back up.

What You Get Out

The Assembler produces the mod's advanced parts: CPU, Flash Memory, Crystal Lens, Aethium Wafer, Erodium Wafer, Ionite wafer, Aethium Boule, Erodium Boule, Ionite Boule, Kyronite Boule, Aethium Interconnect, Erodium Interconnect, Ionite Interconnect, Kyronite Interconnect, and the modifier items — Amplification Modifier, Bandwidth Modifier, Dimensional Modifier, Electrostatic Modifier, Frequency Modifier and Interdimensional Modifier. Build one Assembler first, then expand I/O as your production grows.
