Using Scrolls and Tomes for Knowledge Progression

The mod's scrolls and tomes are the paper trail of its knowledge system. They are not just lore items — several of them are functional and feed into crafting.

The Scroll Family

Blank Scroll is the base item. From it, the mod builds Darkest Scroll, Scroll of Ageless Wisdom, Scroll of Postmortal Recall, and Scroll of a Thousand Curses. Each serves a different purpose: Postmortal Recall is your escape tool, Thousand Curses belongs to the cursed branch, and Ageless Wisdom is the knowledge-focused one. Craft Blank Scrolls in bulk — you will burn through them.

Tomes and Knowledge Points

Tattered Tome and Corrupted Tome are the mod's book items. The Corrupted Tome ties into the cursed crafting branch alongside the Ring of the Seven Curses and Scroll of a Thousand Curses. Keep Tomes separate from Scrolls in storage. If you are chasing the mod's knowledge-points progression, treat Scroll of Ageless Wisdom and the Tomes as your priority crafts — they are the items that gate the mod's deeper content. Pair them with Lore Fragment and The Architect's Inkwell, which belong to the same scholarly set, and read every Tome you craft before storing it, since the mod's knowledge path expects you to engage with the items rather than hoard them.
