How to Use Scrolls and the Enchanter's Pearl

Scroll Basics

Scrolls are single-use or reusable items that store effects. The main scrolls are:

• Blank Scroll — the empty base
• Scroll of Ageless Wisdom
• Scroll of Postmortal Recall
• Scroll of a Thousand Curses

A Blank Scroll is the starting point. Craft it into the specific scroll you need using the matching recipe. The Scroll of Postmortal Recall is used to return to a set point after death. The Scroll of Ageless Wisdom stores experience-related effects. The Scroll of a Thousand Curses applies curses — use it carefully.

Enchanter's Pearl and Inkwell

The Enchanter's Pearl is used in scroll and enchanting recipes. The Architect's Inkwell is the writing tool that pairs with Blank Scrolls to produce finished scrolls.

To make a scroll: craft a Blank Scroll, then combine it with the required ingredients (often including an Enchanter's Pearl or The Architect's Inkwell) in a crafting table. The result is the finished scroll, ready to use.

Store spare scrolls in a Sack of Astral Dust if you are gathering Astral Dust at the same time — the sack is a block that holds astral materials and keeps your inventory clear while you work through scroll recipes.
