How to Obtain and Use the Dormant Eye

The Dormant Eye is a crafting component tied to the mod's deeper progression. You will not find it in a chest; it must be produced through the mod's own processing chains.

Getting the Eye

Work toward the Dormant Eye by first accumulating the mod's core materials: Etherium Ingot, Etherium Nugget, Etherium Scrap, Astral Dust, and Soul Dust. These feed most of the mod's crafting and processing recipes. Once you have a stable supply, check the crafting recipes that consume Astral Dust and Soul Dust together, since the Dormant Eye sits in that tier of the progression. If a recipe is not appearing in your recipe viewer, you are missing one of the prerequisite materials — gather more Etherium Scrap and Astral Dust before retrying.

What It Unlocks

A Dormant Eye is a stepping stone, not a finished tool. Hold onto every one you make, because it feeds into higher-tier items such as the Inscrutable Eye and the Extradimensional Eye. Do not smelt or scrap it. Store Dormant Eyes in a dedicated chest alongside Soul Crystal, Soul Dust, and Nefarious Essence so you can batch-craft the next tier without hunting for parts.
