Crafting the Lamp Family

Enigmatic Legacy adds several light blocks. The base is the Lamp. From it you can craft the Redstone Lantern, which responds to redstone signals.

Encased versions exist for decoration and protection:

• Encased Lamp
• Encased Redstone Lantern
• Encased Shroomlamp

Shroomlamp is the mushroom-themed light. Encased Shroomlamp is its protected variant. Each encased block is crafted from its uncased counterpart plus the casing materials in a shaped recipe.

Placing and Using Them

Place Lamps like any light block — they emit light and prevent mob spawning in the area. Use the Redstone Lantern where you want light you can toggle with a lever or pressure plate. The Encased Redstone Lantern is the same idea but protected from being broken by explosions or accidental mining.

Shroomlamp and Encased Shroomlamp give a different color tone, useful for builds where you want a warmer or more organic look.

The Eternal Cake is another placeable block in the same decorative family — craft it and place it like a normal cake. It is a permanent food block rather than a light source, so keep it separate from your lamp builds.
