Building the Etherium Gear Progression

Etherium is the mod's core metal, and it runs from raw ore all the way to a full armor and tool set. The chain is long, so plan it in stages.

From Ore to Ingot

Start by mining Etherium Ore. Process it into Etherium Scrap, then combine Scrap into Etherium Ingot. Nuggets come from the same chain and are useful for small recipes. Store Ore, Scrap, Ingot, and Nugget in separate slots so you can see which stage you are short on. Block of Etherium is the storage form — craft it once you have surplus Ingots so your chest space does not explode.

Tools and Armor

Once you have Ingots, craft the full Etherium set: Etherium Helmet, Etherium Cuirass, Etherium Greaves, Etherium Boots, Etherium Pickaxe, Etherium Shovel, Etherium Broadsword, Etherium Waraxe, and Etherium Scythe. Each is a standard shaped recipe using Ingots. The Broadsword and Waraxe are your combat options; the Scythe is the mod's signature weapon and worth prioritizing if you fight in groups. Wear the full armor set before pushing into the mod's harder content, and keep spare Ingots for repairs. Do not skip the Pickaxe — you will need it to mine more Ore for the next tier of gear.
