How to Craft Mushroom Signs and Hanging Signs

Standard Mushroom Sign

A Mushroom Sign is crafted from Mushroom Planks. Once placed, you can write text on it like any other sign. Use it to label storage rooms, mark paths, or name builds in a mushroom-themed base.

To craft one, convert Mushroom Hyphae into Mushroom Planks, then use the planks in the sign recipe. Signs stack, so craft several at once if you are labeling a large area.

Hanging Sign

A Mushroom Hanging Sign is a separate block from the standard sign. It hangs from a chain or from the underside of a block, giving a different look for ceilings and doorways. Craft it from Mushroom Planks following the hanging sign recipe.

Use hanging signs for:

• Shop fronts and stall labels
• Ceiling-mounted directions in caves or tunnels
• Decorative naming above doorways

Both sign types use the same plank material, so a single batch of Mushroom Planks can supply both. If you are building a village or market, craft a mix: standard signs for ground-level posts and hanging signs for overhead labels. Keep spare planks in your inventory so you can craft more signs on site instead of returning to a crafting table.
