Crafting the Basic Mushroom Boat

A Mushroom Boat lets you travel across water using the mushroom wood set. Craft it from Mushroom Planks in a shaped recipe. The boat behaves like a standard boat: place it on water, right-click to board, and use it to cross oceans, rivers, and lakes.

You will need several Mushroom Planks per boat, so process Mushroom Hyphae into planks first. If you plan to explore, craft more than one boat so you have a spare if the first one breaks or gets lost.

Adding a Chest

A Mushroom Boat with Chest combines storage and transport. Craft it from a Mushroom Boat plus a chest in a crafting recipe. The result is a boat that carries items while you paddle.

Use the chest variant when:

• You are moving base and need to ferry supplies across water
• You are exploring and want to bring loot back without returning on foot
• You are building on an island and hauling materials

Both boats are made from the same Mushroom Planks line, so once you have a plank supply, producing either is quick. Keep a stack of planks in your inventory when you travel so you can replace a lost boat on the spot.
