How to Start Farming with Crop Sticks and Seeds

Planting Your First Crops

Place Crop Sticks on farmland to create the support your crops need, then plant the matching seeds on the farmland beneath or beside them. The mod's growable crops include Aubergine Crop, Corn Crop, Cucumber Crop, Garlic Crop, Grape Crop, Lettuce Crop, Mint Crop, Pineapple Crop, Tomato Crop, and Onion Crop, along with their corresponding seeds such as Aubergine Seeds, Corn Seeds, Cucumber Seeds, Garlic Seeds, Grape Seeds, Lettuce Seeds, Mint Seeds, Pineapple Seeds, Tomato Seeds, and Onion Seeds. Nether Flower Crop uses Nether Flower Seeds and grows in the same stick-supported setup.

Harvest each crop when mature to collect its produce: Aubergine, Corn, Cucumber, Garlic, Grapes, Lettuce, Mint, and Tomato. These feed directly into cooking and processing recipes.

Tree Saplings and Leaves

Tree-type plants use their own seeds and leaves. Plant Apple Seeds to grow Apple Leaves, Avocado Seed for Avocado Leaves, Banana Seeds for Banana Leaves, Cherry Seeds for Cherry Leaves, Lemon Seeds for Lemon Leaves, Mango Seed for Mango Leaves, Olive Seeds for Olive Leaves, Orange Seeds for Orange Leaves, and Pear Seeds for Pear Leaves. Once the leaves are established, harvest the fruit they bear — Apple, Avocado, Banana, Cherry, Lemon, Mango, Olive, Orange, and Pear — to stock your kitchen.

Keep a Scarecrow near your plots to protect the field while everything matures.
