Marking Your Route

Ariadne Coal is a block you place to mark a trail. Use it when exploring caves or branching tunnels so you can find your way back without torches. Place Ariadne Coal at junctions and turns, then follow the markers home.

Tracking with the Tracker

The Tracker is a handheld item that works alongside your placed markers. Carry it while exploring so you can locate your trail. Combine it with Ariadne Coal placement: drop coal at decision points, then use the Tracker to retrace the path. This is faster than counting torches.

Sleeping Bag and Diving Air Capsule

The Sleeping Bag lets you rest without placing a full bed, which is useful when you are far from base. The Diving Air Capsule extends your underwater time, so bring it for flooded caves and ocean work. Both are crafted through the mod's recipes and fit in a normal inventory slot.

Packing for a Trip

Before leaving base, fill a Material Storage Box with Ariadne Coal, a Sleeping Bag, a Diving Air Capsule, and a Tracker. Carry the Tracker on your hotbar. Place coal as you go, rest in the Sleeping Bag when night falls, and use the Diving Air Capsule before entering water. Return along the coal trail using the Tracker.
