How to Light an Industrial Build with Inset and Bulb Lights

Inset Light is the flush ceiling or wall light. Place it in a ceiling so the face sits level with the surrounding blocks. Inset Floor Edge Light goes into a floor edge and lights the area from below, useful along walkway borders and floor perimeters.

Ceiling Edge Light mounts at the junction where a ceiling meets a wall. Place it along the ceiling line to wash light down the wall face. These three fixtures are the ones to use when you want light without a visible fixture body sticking out of the surface.

Surface fixtures and signage

Iron Bulb Light is the exposed fixture. Hang it from a ceiling or mount it on a wall where you want the light source to be visible as part of the build. Use it in machine rooms and corridors where a bare industrial look fits.

For signage, place Exit Sign above doorways and at the ends of corridors. The caution signs cover specific hazards: Sign "Caution Hot Surface", Sign "Caution Hot Wire", Sign "Caution Strong Magnetic Field", Sign "Fire Hazard", Sign "Frost Warning", Sign "Laser Hazard", Sign "Radioactive Hazard", Sign "Caution Magical Hazard", Sign "Caution Defense System Ahead", and Sign "Caution Really Dangerous There". Sign Plate (Engineer's decor) is the blank plate for general labeling. Sign "Generic Caution" covers anything the specific signs do not.
