How to Build Industrial Walls and Floors from Clinker and Slag Brick

Choosing your brick set

The mod gives you three matching brick families: Clinker Brick Block, Slag Brick Block, and Stained Clinker Brick Block. Each has a full set of shapes so you can build without mixing materials. Clinker Brick Block comes with Clinker Brick Slab, Clinker Brick Stairs, and Clinker Brick Wall. Slag Brick Block comes with Slag Brick Slab, Slag Brick Stairs, and Slag Brick Wall. Stained Clinker Brick Block comes with Stained Clinker Brick Slab and Stained Clinker Brick Stairs.

For accent work, Recessed Clinker Brick sits flush in a wall and reads as a recessed panel, while Sandstone Ornated Clinker Brick adds a decorative band. Use these sparingly between runs of plain Clinker Brick Block to break up large surfaces.

Floors and structural concrete

For floors, lay Rebar Concrete Block as the base. It has a full shape set: Rebar Concrete Slab, Rebar Concrete Stairs, Rebar Concrete Wall, and Rebar Concrete Slice for thin trim pieces. Rebar Concrete Tile gives a tiled surface and comes with Rebar Concrete Tile Slab and Rebar Concrete Tile Stairs.

Combine the two families: Rebar Concrete Block for structural walls and floors, Rebar Concrete Tile for finished floor surfaces, and Clinker Brick Block or Slag Brick Block for decorative wall faces. Dense Grit Dirt and Dense Grit Sand fill in ground areas around an industrial build where you want a packed, compacted look instead of loose dirt or sand.
